Resuming walking along the course, one encounters a large white villa

Similar to typical residences in the southern United States.

It was built between the main city street and the 16th-century city walls by Antonino Fiorentino and Lucia Cuomo, owners of a renowned handkerchief factory. The building was completed in 1935/36 and became the Fiorentino family's home, but also the representative headquarters of their internationally prominent company. Today it is home to art exhibitions and cultural events. The park, with a colorful rose garden at the entrance and a lush citrus grove at the back of the building, houses a play area for children.
